Where to stay in Cambodia?

Looking for accommodation in Cambodia? Don't worry about this easy task. Constructing and managing hotels and guesthouses is an extremely common and good business idea for local entrepreneurs. Often there are two times more available rooms of any price category than actual guests visiting the country. Regardless of where you arrive, local tuk-tuk drivers will immediately ask you if you need a room. You might be surprised by their clamoring to assist you, but this is their way of making a living and a small commission from the hotel. Ask the tuk-tuk driver how much he will charge you before setting off to view hotels. Also tell the driver what your room budget is as they will know most of the room rates and can show you several options.

Room prices ranges from $5 up to $2000, however most hotels and guesthouses will charge you $20-$30 per day. Usually for this price, you'll get a clean, comfortable room with air-con, cable TV and a mini-bar. Rates for prestigious, quality accommodation start from as little as $60 per night.
