Nights in Cambodia: small chance to stay alone

Similar to Thailand, Cambodia has very liberal nightlife rules. Bars, discos and casinos are open till early in the morning. Walk on the Riverside Street in Phnom Penh after 8 p.m. It becomes a nightlife center with many quality restaurants and nightclubs that welcome foreigners. Bars with girls to entertain you, are hidden in streets off the main Riverside road. The most popular and often crowded nightclubs in Phnom Penh are Riverside, Sharky, Martini and Shanghai.  All motorbike and tuk-tuk drivers know these names and locations. For top-end nightlife you'd better off to visit luxury hotel's bars.

Sihanoukville also not sleeping at night. Parties to dawn are arranged in two areas - on the Ochheuteal beach and on the Victory Hill. It is always easy to find a frivolous local girlfriend in both places.

Of course, as in most countries of South-East Asia, hotel staff never prevent you if you invite to your room a local girlfriend in the evening. Nobody is going to ask you for any additional service fee or bribe for your success with women. Your new girlfriend will not be required to show her id card, as it instituted in Thailand. Moreover, if a white man, "barang", as locals call foreigners, will return to his hotel’s room alone, the staff will try to help him by offering some typical, unpretentious massage service.
