Their quotations were:
In the first office: $59000
In the second office: $49000
In the new one: $29000.

Real estate: local market

Cambodian property laws for foreigners are similar to the laws of other countries of the region eg. Thailand, Vietnam or Malaysia. Foreigners cannot buy land or a house. However, foreign citizens are allowed to rent it for 99 years. In fact, you lease a house in a form of long-term rental contract, with a Khmer owner.
